My father would be 72 today. 10 years has past since I saw his face and was able to spend saturday mornings having breakfast with him, those late night calls when i knew he would always be there to 'talk it down', those days just sitting around having him explain, as he did so well, the understanding of what it is to be a man that does not deviate. His eyes small and beady, yet could show you his heart and always let you in. His hands were a gift that were able to change lives with just a touch. Yet it all seems like yesterday that he was taken from us on that July day in 2001. With today being his birthday I wanted to remember that God blessed not only us with a man that had passion for life, dedication to Pure ChiropracTIC and had a genuine heart to give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it, but was a father to me by showing me how to be a father, a friend and developing my skills so I would be able to continue his legacy by help others along this path and around the world. These special times I will deeply cherish for my entire life.
In just the limited amount of time that he was shared with us on this earth, Universe allowed so many lives to be changed by not only his talk, but his definitive, never deviating walk. I traveled the world by his side since I was young boy, continuing through the teenage years of learning by his side how he was able to, through what appeared to be a simple 'thing' he did to restore health, to my adult years of having the honor to be humble when he spoke the "WHEN", the "WHERE'" and the "HOW." I watched and began to understand that if you follow a path that has been so perfectly created, and follow a principle that has stood the test of time, then the outcome will be so phenomenal, that it truly will be the impact of your existence. "No one can stop a principle son, you stay in motion and never let em get you down" he used to say to me. I instill this within my children today.
This man, Dr. Michael U. Kale, was a Mentor to many, a simple friend to others, a humble student to the principle, but I always called him my Dad!
A Big hug and kiss to you Dad!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
Your Son,
B.J.

A legend and force never to be reckoned with. He truly was an amazing man with such deep insight to LIFE from the Chiropractic perspective and the Spiritual perspective. What a blessing he was to many. I know he was to me. Carry that torch BJ, don't let it smolder.
