For example in a recent audio interview that was sent to us, which linked us to UpperCervicalDocs.com, where a UC doctor that was many years ago affiliated with the Kale Network stated in portions of his interview clearly inaccurate and misleading information. After listening to it several times, it really began to sink in that many docs are simply candy coating the outside parameters of what the actual truth is. And for what reason?? Just tell the story. THE EXACT STORY!
It was asked by the interviewer to "Explain to us the exact reason why you started your organization," the response from the UC Doctor being interviewed was "...well, Dr. Kale had passed away in 2001...July 2, 2001, and a few of us felt at that time...not just myself, but a couple of others also (and he names two other UC doctors )...we felt that Dr. Kale had passed and we needed to continue the Knee Chest teachings within a group and have a program to teach it, so in November of 2001 we had our first official meeting in Atlanta, Georgia." I cannot believe that again, the candy coating continues by the perceived appearance. WHY? Why not just say it as it is? TELL THE STORY as it actually happened? What does this UC Doc have to hide behind? Did this man actually think that there are not ones out in the UC community that do KNOW what the actual story is, because they were there? The candy coating colors looks GREAT, but just as with the candy coating, it will ALWAYS melt away when held to long.
The truth of this story is, my father did pass away on July 2, 2001, yet prior to his death he had already made very precise plans as to who would lead the oldest and strongest SPECIFIC KNEE CHEST UPPER CERVICAL organization that he had created. He spoke to those two men (which to be clear, neither of them was the UC doc being interviewed) and asked them that if for some reason that one of his children would not want or could not lead the Kale Knee Chest organization, then would they uphold the teaching of BJP exactly as was taught to my father by Dr. Lyle Sherman. They agreed that they would if needed. Yet, he left the depths of the calling to me to lead his organization, and I humbly accepted as his youngest son that he named after the Father of Chiropractic. The one that traveled the world with him everywhere he went. The one that was closest to him at all times, year after year. The one that he KNEW would NOT deviate from what he created and fought for 38 years to maintain in the exacting standards, without personal gain or fortitude. In fact, there was a Kale Knee Chest seminar two weeks after my father's death, with one of the largest attendance of participants, and there it was announced that just because Dr. Kale passed, it does not mean that his teachings would stop. It was my fathers wishes that we continue NO MATTER WHAT to maintain BJP's teachings, which we have done before and ever since he passed. We have never stopped or even paused before or since July 2, 2001. So to allow a perception to be that simply because Dr. Kale passed away, that the Knee Chest movement was now dead and was meant to be carried on by "this particular" UC doc since no-one else was doing it, IS completely FALSE. May I remind those that may not know, that there was another Knee Chest group on the West coast that was also teaching a version of what they learned from my father way before July 2, 2001 and still continue to teach it today. Again, perception is a mysterious tool, and can be used in a derogatory manner to manipulate ones that do not have the strength to dig further and find out exactly what the truth is. I simply say this as accurate as it happened, not to offend or offeset anyone in any technique. But simply to keep the 'record' straight, so perception cannot lead the path of the real journey. For if we do not keep the 'record' straight, and continue to believe this false information, where will it lead us?
As I travel the world teaching, I encourage each person to investigate and truly find out what lies beneath the outer candy coating of ones that are speaking. Dig deeper than just is what on the surface, for within that you will gain the KNOWledge of what it is that man or woman is about , and what is that you trust about them. And if you do trust them, then you must dig deeper, so you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the words they speak come from an honest tongue.
I was recently asked the question from a fellow, "Dr. B.J. what will it take to unify the Upper Cervical docs?" I responded by saying one word "RESPECT!" Because if we do not show respect and tell the story how it is, regardless of how it affects US, then how could we could unify. However, just I like I told this fine fellow, it will be hard pressed for that to happen. Simply because, just as this interview was skewed by the false perception to allow that simply because Dr. Kale died, so did his organization. And the perception continued that it was up to 'him' to start a program to 'continue it.' This false perception is what allows for confusion in the UC community, which allows for disharmony, which leads to non-unification. Be aware of other parts of the skewed UC puzzle. Investigate to find out not what you 'heard," but actually finding out times, dates, places etc.
Be honest, use the words and outlets to tell the story, THE EXACT STORY, so we can preserve that Specific UC TIC that was given to us. STOP providing false perceptions about anything you do, no matter who you are. Because just like the candy coating, when the heat stays on it too long, it will melt. It cannot hold on to the inner core, as it there merely for decoration. The end user simply wants the core chocolate.
What do you want today? The candy coating or the inner chocolate of TIC? Investigate, find out for yourself. Gain that KNOWledge. For by doing so you will be able to create YOUR inner man/woman the proper way and in proper shape, which will allow for the preservation of this awesome principle. STEP UP and as BJP stated, "GUARD IT WELL!"
