Choices surround us everyday in everything we do. We as humans must continually make choices every second of everyday that we live. In fact, we don’t have a choice to not make a choice.
I was talking with a distinguished colleague the other day and we were discussing the the United States Presidency, and after discussing the views that have been expressed he and I were divided on certain issues. I stated to him that is one of the Great reasons why we live in America, because we are allowed to have choices. This resonated within me as I began to ponder on this relevant relationship, of choices, and how it related to TIC.
We so often begin each day not knowing how the day will play out. I mean we make a plan and we try to stick with that plan, yet many times the exact plan that we choose somehow may have gotten altered within the course of other choices throughout the day. Why is this? This is because every action we do or take has a reaction, it is a law. We cannot operate outside of that law, it is not possible. No matter what!
When we relate this to TIC and how it coincides with the practice or the patients, we begin to realize that every decision that is made prior to the adjustment concerning the patient and then to setup and deliver will be the action at the moment that an adjustment is given, then the reaction will follow. It is a law. We cannot conduct outside of this law. It just IS. Therefore, if we do not study and follow exact parameters to keep the action to work at the highest percentile available, with less variables and more constants, then the reaction can and only will be less than that higher percentile of the action. These parameters were set in place way before us, it is our job and our duty to maintain these parameters, and structure our minds around them to allow for the highest percentile of results of removing that vertebral Subluxation and allowing for that straight line to gain strength for a greater length of time. By doing this we have now created an emotion that will allow our choices to be made and delivered with every possible means of excellence, which then means that the patient can and will receive the best possible care that is needed to strengthen their Nervous System.
If we challenge any of these rules then the law will not work. Period. However, if we just allow ourselves to DO, then we will be able to see what HAS BEEN DONE. Many times we try to ‘figure it out’ before hand, then we find ourselves years later still in that same mode of trying to ‘figure it out.’ You must overcome this type of thinking, as this is nothing but infantile thinking. You are not greater than the Creator, so stop trying to think that you are. We each have superior minds, if we just use them properly. And to use them properly, in whatever we choose to do, is to only gain strength and purpose in what we can do.
While growing up, one word that was not allowed to be said in our house was CAN’T. If we said this word we got scolded. Then we were told, to replace that negative thinking with these words, I CAN! I WILL! I MUST! When we finally understood what this was, because we made that ‘choice,’ we began to see that anything can be accomplished IF we choose the correct path of thinking. So today, in whatever your plans are, make the CHOICE to think I CAN! I WILL! I MUST! Then act upon that choice, and you will see that every-time you catch yourself in that ‘choice’ making mode of which direction to take, with your patient, your marriage, your schooling, your recreation, your whole direction in life, you will see that the choice to follow within the parameters of the law that was set before us will lead you down the path of an enlightening experience.
What choice will you make?
